The Serenity Outdoor School invites you to book an adventure with us for any time during the summer and into the fall. Events are open to the all members of the community. Individuals who consider themselves to be in recovery, may be eligible to participate in an event for a reduced donation or request a full waiver.
Consists of an introduction to kayaking tutorial, followed by an hour and half water session and fun tour. The program concludes with a short debrief with a question and answer session with your instructor. (All community members must participate in a Discovery class prior to participating in any advanced river/lake tours, advanced half day, and full day programs.)
All equipment (paddle, life jacket and boats) are provided by the School
Recommended donation: $35.00 per person
Our adventure tours are geared to the more advanced paddler due to the fact that the miles covered tend to be longer in distance. Programs are 4 to 6 hours in length and may include a box lunch option for longer trips and snack breaks for shorter trips. Programs will start with an hour to hour and a half paddle. Stop for a lunch or snack break and discussion group based upon a preselected topic. Followed by an hour to hour and half return paddle.
All equipment, paddle, life jackets, boats, snacks and or box lunches with bottled water are provided by the school
Recommended donation: $65 per person for half day, $85 to $99 for full day. (Snack choice or box lunch choice may effect per person donation recommendations)
Based upon the needs of the members of the community, the Serenity Outdoor School can help you to develop a program that meets your needs. We have access to professionals in all walks of life who are willing to spend their time to help you and those around you, to grow and develop both in recovery as well as in your own personal growth and professional development.
